We use Netlify CMS https://www.netlifycms.org/docs/intro/ for our
https://ncarchitects.lib.ncsu.edu. The only problem we ran into is we had
to set up a small Flask application in order to handle the login to GitHub
functionality with the application. Feel free to reach out if you have any
questions.
