Digital Ocean has a NYC location.

Ugh. That's a bummer. I've gotten more intrusion attempts for some of our
WP installs from AWS than anywhere else.
With that said, I'd also be interested if fellow code4Libers had
suggestions for cloud web hosting around NYC/within NY state.

I second what Cary said. I've seen many, many intrusion attempts coming
from Digital Ocean's network for a long time now. Enough for me to raise
an eyebrow when it was suggested to use them as a cloud provider. While
they may well serve that purpose, it doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy
feeling to get in bed with someone who's sleeping with the enemy. So to
speak.
