The Access 2022<https://accessconference.ca/2022/04/20/2022-call-for-proposals-open/> Program Committee invites proposals for participation at our upcoming conference, taking place October 12-14th, 2022 at Carleton University in Ottawa.
Access is Canada's premier annual library technology conference. Its single-stream format features keynotes, presentations, lightning talks, and plenty of opportunities to connect and socialize. The conference brings together librarians, technicians, developers, programmers, and managers from all library sectors to discuss unique and of-the-moment processes and technologies.
We are planning an in-person event this year, but recognize the pandemic continues to bring uncertainty. Presentation proposals should include your preference for delivering your session 'remotely', 'in-person', or 'no strong preference either way'. This information will help the Program Committee plan the conference format that best meets the community's needs.
Depending on the volume of submissions, presenters may be limited to a single session. All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee.
We are seeking proposals for:
* 5-minute sessions
* Lightning talks! Any conference-related topic is welcome.
* 20-minute sessions (15 mins + 5 mins for questions)
* Demos, case studies, original research, theory, practice, etc.
Have another idea? Propose it!
* Proposals will be peer reviewed.
* 45-60-minute sessions
* Multi-presenter sessions such as panel discussions, etc.
* Proposals will be peer reviewed.
* Half-day workshops (1-3 hours)
* Propose a workshop you would like to lead or the topic of a workshop you'd like to attend.
* Any conference-related topic is welcome. Innovative approaches are welcome.
* Proposals will be peer reviewed.
Submission deadline - EXTENDED
11:59 p.m. PST, Wednesday May 18, 2022. Speakers will be notified of an acceptance decision by the end of June.
