Hello Code4lib colleagues!
Back in the middle of 2022 I asked for your help to circulate a research instrument my colleagues and I had devised. The purpose of our research was to better understand scholars' understanding and perceptions of persistent identifiers (PIDs).
I am pleased to report that the findings from this work have recently been openly published. Please see: https://doi.org/10.1515/opis-2022-0142
All the best -- and thanks again to all those who helped circulate the questionnaire instrument!
George

Hi Albe -- Of course, findings and data will be published openly. I can send a message to the list when these are available.
Thanks for your support and interest in the work -- it is very much appreciated!
Cheers
George

Hi George,
I have shared with my colleagues, I hope you will get to the number you're aiming for soon.
Like Julian, I'd also be very interested in the results of that study, I hope you'll share with this list!
Cheers,

Hi Julian -- Thanks very much for your interest in this!
>Could you share when you'd like surveys to be submitted? I guess that depends on when you'll be sharing the findings, right?
Good question! Well, it actually depends more on the number of responses we receive. 😉 It would be helpful to have upwards of 100 responses to make any statistical inferences a little more secure, hence we avoided an explicit closing date; but, equally, it can't remain open forever. Last time I checked we had circa 70. So, let's say we will keep it open until Friday June 24th. That sound OK?
Thanks again.
George

Hi George,
I'll be very interested in the results of this study!
Could you share when you'd like surveys to be submitted? I guess that depends on when you'll be sharing the findings, right?
Thanks!
Julian
