My esteemed listmates,

I was helping a patron troubleshoot a Whirlpool Cabrio top loader clothes
washer issue.

The Whirlpool site was less than instructive and I haven't had a lot of
luck myself posting to reddit.

She watched several Whilrpool YT videos and although 1 showed how to
factory reset the washer's computer board it never corrected the Wash
function (dysfunction?)

Posting on Facebook she got a lot of Googled results of sites which aren't
vetted so you spend  hours reading and subcruing.

Has anyone found any "go-to" forums for DIY'ers?
