*DESCRIPTION*
Academic librarians use AI in research, communications, data management,
cataloging and especially acquisitions and licensing, among other areas.
This webinar describes what they are doing with and how much time they
spend on ChatGPT, Bard and AI-enabled Bing. We also look at exactly how
academics evaluate their AI experience, and what they hope (or fear) for
the future. In addition, we examine how librarians are advising faculty and
other library patrons in AI management and development. The webinar will
draw on data from more than 10 surveys of academic librarians and higher
education faculty.
