I've Goolged this and found most advise you take these steps

If you have a Samsung device, go to Files and find the picture. Then long
press to select it, click "More" on the bottom, then click "Add to home
screen".

When I Long Press and Choose More there is no add to home screen.

In Windows you can open 2 File Explorer windows and drag  the .jpg over.

Is there a way in Android to open 2 windows and just drag the jpg over?

Sasmung never replies to tech questions so I appreciate your kind help.
