A faculty member has reached out about our library becoming a Perma.cc registrar. If anyone has any experiences they are willing to share about being a registrar, things to look out for, documentation that is helpful, strain on staff, I'd appreciate any thoughts.

They have advised they want to use it for permalinks for citations for their own scholarship, but also for reading lists in their syllabi (which I believe is against the terms of use since the work has to be both freely available on the web, and part of a citation per a plain reading of the TOU).
