The Health Sciences and Human Services Library (HSHSL)<https://www.hshsl.umaryland.edu/> at the University of Maryland, Baltimore<https://www.umaryland.edu/> (UMB) invites applications for a Data Services Librarian. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, status-eligible library faculty position. Start date is Fall 2024.

As a member of the HSHSL, the Data Services Librarian will provide robust research data-related services for UMB faculty, staff, and students. This librarian advances the Library’s efforts in data sharing and in research data management, discovery, and access. This position is a member of the Data and Bioinformation Services Department, and a core member of the Library’s Center for Data and Bioinformation Services (CDABS)<https://www2.hshsl.umaryland.edu/cdabs/>. The librarian also collaborates with faculty and staff within the HSHSL and with partners throughout the University. The HSHSL serves UMB’s schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work, and the Graduate School.
