Go to Settings, click on search on the left, you can select your default
search engine at the top. I don't think it allows you to remove it from
that list.
If you scroll down to Search Shortcuts, you can select DuckDuckGo and
click on the remove button below.
If you're talking about an extension, Add-ons and Themes in the same
menu as settings, select extensions and you can remove any that are
installed from there.
