My esteemed listmates,

Although I didn't read what I was hoping for I do appreciate the
helpful conversation.

When I drive locally to a place I;ve never been I use Google Maps
zoomed as far as it will go and then you reach that 360 look where you
can see exactly what you should be seeing when you drive it, sometimes
as pointed out here a little outrage based on the Google photos.

I was hoping there was something akin for freeways.

It's treacherous driving into some major areas as there are many
connecting roadways and you can't make 1 mistake with drivers
tailgating, honking horns, screaming at you because you're hesitant
having never driven there before.

Then add in driving at night where you don't see the landscape as well
as during the day.

Many cities are fairly easy to navigate but there are a couple even
longtime residents who aren't adept at traversing.
