Position announcement: SUNY Library Services Digital Initiatives Program Manager and Support Specialist
The SUNY Library Services Digital Initiatives Program Manager and Support Specialist (State Title: Staff Associate) will lead and manage SUNY-wide transformative digital initiatives to support SUNY libraries. The Digital Initiatives Program Manager and Support Specialist will develop and leverage digital technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) tools, to improve library services and the user experience. In addition to coordination of digital initiatives strategies, they will collaborate and coordinate with all SLS staff to provide direct support to all libraries in areas of resource management, analytics, troubleshooting discovery and e-resources, general systems configuration, and other assigned areas within Alma/Primo and related library systems. This position will be instrumental in developing and advancing our strategic vision and direction for the services OLIS provides to our SUNY libraries and the tools we need to help our libraries succeed.
This position will be supported by one of the SUNY Empire State College regional locations. SUNY Empire provides employees with robust remote and flexible work options to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff in a dispersed work environment.
