Colleagues,
There is still time to register to join The Center for Open Science
(COS) on November 14th at 12 pm eastern for *Using OSF to Meet Upcoming
Open Science Expectations: Top 2025 in the University Setting*
<https://cos-io.zoom.us/webinar/register/5717301424040/WN_Iy4tu8VYR4-YWhSbSRlcBg>.
The Transparency and Openness Promotion (TOP) Guidelines is a policy
framework that includes research practices designed to increase the
verifiability of empirical research claims and help meet new mandates
for data sharing in order to validate and replicate research findings.
Published in 2015, TOP is widely endorsed by publishers and funders, and
more than 2,000 journals implement TOP policies. TOP 2025 is the newly
revised policy framework that has incorporated policy-maker feedback and
includes new standards for protocols and comprehensive reporting.
In this session, we will explore the new framework and how to apply it
to requirements for open research using the Open Science Framework
(OSF). Data Management Librarians and Research Support Staff are
specifically invited to attend to learn how TOP 2025 can help you
support open scholarship at your institution.
The session is free to all and a recording will be sent out after the
session to all who register.
