I am reminded of this 2007 essay on finding a pen that induces joy: https://randsinrepose.com/archives/the-gel-dilemma/
I am partial to the Pilot G2, a gel pen that comes in 4 widths and many different colors. The pen feels good to hold and the ink flow is satisfying. The 0.7mm pen comes in 41 colors (including neon varieties) according to the product catalog: https://pilot.widen.net/s/r9spqg75ph/pilot_product_catalog_website
It is reportedly one of the most popular pens in use today, so you shouldn't have trouble finding it, and it doesn't sound as though it's going to be discontinued any time soon.
