We invite you to join us for an exciting professional development
opportunity! Brought to you by the NASIG Continuing Education Committee,
the virtual webinar "What I've Learned from Leading AI Initiatives - and How
You Can Apply It Today" will take place on Tuesday, September 10, 2025 from
2:00 PM to 3:00 PM EDT via Zoom Webinar. The registration deadline is
September 9, 2025.

Ready to navigate the AI transformation in libraries with confidence? AI is
reshaping how we work in libraries at every level, and we're thrilled to
bring you insights from one of the field's leading experts. Leo S. Lo,
incoming University Librarian and Dean of Libraries at the University of
Virginia, will share invaluable lessons from his work on national AI
literacy studies and multiple large-scale training programs, all translated
into practical, actionable steps you can start using immediately.

Whether you're working with a generous budget or creative constraints,
whether you're in a leadership role or just beginning your career, this
session is designed with you in mind. Leo will guide you through proven
strategies that work in real-world library environments, helping you build
the skills and confidence to thrive in our AI-enhanced future.

You'll explore the five key components of AI literacy and learn simple,
low-barrier ways to experiment with AI tools. Whether you're an early
adopter or just curious, you'll leave with concrete next steps to build your
AI skills, increase your confidence, and contribute to your institution's AI
readiness.
