I believe I am the third person to express this... Chiming in over email with possible interest in this possible group is not effective and spams the inbox for those who are NOT interested.
Some better avenues as a way to opt in (all which have been articulated):
1. slack - there is even a slack channel for ai.
2. someone start a separate listserv.
3. someone plan a meeting. In that space establish a better way to communicate.
