Attached is a press release from the International DOI Foundation, the organization that develops and promotes the Digital Object Identifier. On Monday Sept 22, a small group of us will be meeting in Washington DC with Norman Paskin, Director of the DOI Foundation, to discuss possible synergies between the DLF and DOI, and more generally to talk through our persistent identifier needs.
