The Stanford Digital Repository (SDR), a part of the Stanford University
Libraries & Academic Information Resources (http://www-sul.stanford.edu/),
provides data storage and administration, preservation, metadata, and
distribution services for a wide variety of digital content to Stanford
University as well as to other institutions. The SDR Project Manager will
take this developing repository to full production under the overall
direction of the Stanford Digital Repository Manager. The SDR Project
Manager will be responsible for ingesting digital objects from multiple
projects into the repository in a timely and efficient manner within a
dynamic team environment. The SDR Project Manager must establish and meet
challenging deadlines, remain focused on the repository team's goals,
coordinate complex workflows and schedules for multiple projects, and
refine the ingestion process by analyzing, recommending, and implementing
improvements.
