Technical and Marketing Information Services (TMIS), the department
within Analog Devices, Inc., that is responsible for providing ADI's
worldwide locations with desktop access to internal and external
engineering and business information, is seeking an innovative and
talented software professional.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Be a key contributor to the strategy, development,
implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the department's
information/knowledge-based systems.   Responsible for backend
development, testing, implementation, and documentation of department's
intranet site and online catalog.  Collaborate with department members
to offer cross-platform, cross-browser intranet-searchable products.
Provide secondary support for internal enterprise-wide search engine and
security issues.  Investigate new innovative information-delivery
mechanisms.  Assist/perform other projects as needed.  Upcoming Major
Project:  Develop (using existing open source software) a Content
Management System for department's intranet sites to support better
knowledge sharing, better search retrieval, and better team
collaboration.  Flexibility and the ability to handle changing work
priorities in stride is a must.  In addition, work with department team
to evaluate and maintain resources of strategic interest to ADI.  Manage
day-to-day activities of department's intranet site.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):
Required Education:  BSCS or bachelor's degree in information systems or
library science.  Minimum of 5 years job-related experience.  Minimum of
4 years experience using Java, JSP, and HTML/XHTML.  Minimum 2 years
experience using PHP, Apache, MySQL, UNIX, Linux, and RedHat.  Minimum 1
year using JavaScript, CCS, Perl, Solaris, Windows, and related web
development software and applicable open source tools.  Demonstrated
skills in innovative web site design, development and management.  Must
have excellent ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and
written) with technical and non-technical personnel.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE DESIRED, BUT NOT
REQUIRED):
Experience with Intranet information retrieval via search engines.
Knowledge of some of the following:   Dreamweaver, Struts, EJB, Ant,
Majordomo or AJAX.
