This news raced through the DLF Forum last week in Boston and so I am remiss in taking until now to make sure we all know that Cornell University Librarian Sarah Thomas will be leaving Cornell to become Bodley's Librarian and Director of University Library Services at Oxford University in England. Her appointment begins in February of 2007.

I’m sure we all wish Sarah well and -- with Oxford’s recent membership of the DLF -- I am delighted that she will be staying within the DLF family.
