The Cornell University Library is seeking a programmer/analyst as the
main software developer for the arXiv.org
(http://arxiv.org/)
e-print repository. This is a 1-year term appointment, with the
possibility of renewal. Planned developments include:
- Creation of a new web submission system using modern web-design
principles and techniques,
- Revision of the email alerting system (we send about 20,000 emails to
subscribers each day),
- Development of more flexible search and browse functionality.
