hello - one of the conferences that I am an organizer for, the O'Reilly Tools of Change (in publishing) conference, has an open call for submissions. http://en.oreilly.com/toc2008/public/content/home this would be a great place for DLF folks to participate - there will be talks on digital texts, libraries, publishing (new models thereof), rights, and many other very pertinent issues. also a great networking forum :). in addition to contributing to some of the speaker lists, I am on the paper review panel, so DLF suggestions won't get lost. pb
