Assistant/Associate Dean for Library Technologies
Indiana University Bloomington Libraries

Indiana University Bloomington Libraries are seeking an experienced,
visionary, and creative leader for the position of Assistant/
Associate Dean for Library Technologies.  Reporting to the Dean, the
Assistant/Associate Dean provides administrative and programmatic
leadership in shaping and guiding the future of information
technology and digital initiatives as well as leading the development
of strategies that anticipate emerging technologies and identify new
services. This position works closely with colleagues to develop and
support an overall vision for information technology at a time when
computing, digital, and networked resources are transforming the
delivery of library resources and services.  The Assistant/Associate
Dean provides innovative and strong IT leadership within the
libraries and the broader university computing environment. The
Assistant/Associate Dean leads the operations of four departments/
units: Digital Library Program, Library Information Technology,
Library Information Systems, and Web Development.
