To those presenting at the conference next week (including those who
want to give lightning talks):
If you would like a clear capture of your desktop (instead of a camera
shot of the projection screen), please download the following desktop
capture software:
For Mac: http://www.varasoftware.com/downloads/DesktopPresenter.dmg
For Windows: http://www.varasoftware.com/downloads/DesktopPresenter.exe
They are quite small. All you will need to do is run the software, and
it will capture your desktop and send it to the capture server we are
going to use.
In addition, if you are on Windows, please install Bonjour support:
http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/bonjourforwindows.html
With this, your presenter app will automatically be discovered by the
server, and you won't have to tell me your IP address.
Just to reiterate, we will capture a video of the screen regardless, so
this is not required.
