The presentation will be divided into two parts, the first devoted to the Lynn Hershman / Stanford Humanities Lab Life Squared project; the second devoted to a broader conversation concerning virtual worlds, with special emphasis on Sirikata, a new open source virtual world platform being developed at Stanford the inaugural application of which is SHL's Speed Limits project.
