Pike during the go presentation. personnal conclusions: It's not ready for production but grow fast and have heavy supporters ( plan9 communauty, google, ... ). The mailing list is very active. It will be very good for parts that need better performances than the dynamic langages. BTW: dynamic langages provide tons of shortcuts that will never be available on compiled langages like go: your code will run faster but will be longer and harder to write.
