I've been using CodeIgniter for the past few months. It's simple, relatively elegant and forgiving if you end up not doing things "their way". I'm quite happy with it. It's also relatively lightweight. The cleverest thing I found was a 3rd-party extension (or maybe just a simple technique) to allow you to call your application from the command line.
