Hello all. I've quickly cobbled together notes from our most recent (April 4) WebEx for our Standards group. I put them on the wiki here: http://www.loc.gov/extranet/wiki/osi/ndiip/ndsa/index.phptitle=April_4,_2011_Standards_Working_Group_Notes_and_Agenda PLEASE feel free to make changes in these notes as you see fit. It's highly likely that I missed something or didn't adequately represent something since I'm under the gun to get these notes out before I leave for a short vacation tomorrow. They discuss the idea our NDIIPP partners' meeting planning committee had regarding how best to integrate NDSA work with this July's NDIIPP meeting here in DC. We had a couple of ideas for what we'd like our working group to work on at the meeting - I discuss those in a couple places in the 4/4 meeting notes. For our next meeting I would like us to decide on what we'd like to accomplish at the July meeting (for those of us who are going - I know that not all NDSA people will be at the meeting). Then the NDIIPP planning committee can work on how best to facilitate our work in July. Side note - as many of you no doubt have seen on the news, the federal government is operating under a very real threat of a shutdown. If that happens you will have radio silence from me (hence these admittedly rushed notes) for an indeterminate amount of time. I would make sure that Andrea, our group co-chair, is copied on any missives you send to me so that she can cover for me in the event we are furloughed.
