Red Island Repository Institute - 2011
September 17th - 23rd

This year’s RIRI is fast approaching! Below is the list of excellent instructors and the exciting agenda. We hope you can join us at the exclusively booked Dalvay by the Sea.

You can also find the agenda posted here: http://islandora.ca/riri. Contact us at [log in to unmask] for any questions or additional details.

Instructors (link to Bios): Bradley McLean, Chris Wilper, Steve Bayliss, Mark Leggott, Bess Sadler, Tom Cramer, Matt Zumwalt, Dean Irvine, Donald Moses, Kirsta Stapelfeldt (plus Islandora Team)

Structure: This year RiRi will provide instruction based on 2 core collections as examples: science data (herbarium) and a digital humanities collection (audio and/or manuscripts), with the creation of an Institutional Repository collection as an optional outcome in the hands-on sessions. We will also tie DuraCloud through the full agenda as a core component of the Fedora ecosystem.
