We'll be revisiting the standards survey project with a mind to redesign it a bit. The most notable part of this document is a discussion of how we could use Wikipedia to help us rethink the logistics of the project and move it forward in a new and - we hope - easier way. My colleage here at LC, Trevor Owens, put us in touch with Sarah and she's given us some great ideas about how to leverage Wikipedia's content and infrastructure for our survey project. Sarah has very graciously agreed to join us at our WebEx meeting on Monday. Andrea plans to go through the attached document and Sarah will fill in gaps and expound upon some of the Wikipedia-related information.
