Hello all. It's almost that time again - time for our monthly NDSA Standards Group WebEx. Rather than do a Doodle poll I decided to let our usual meeting time stand. Our meeting will be on Monday, November 7th at 1:00 EDT. The WebEx connection info (which should be the same as always) is below my signature. We'll be talking more about Wikipedia and our standards survey. Andrea has done some work on the Broadcast Wave format page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadcast_Wave_Format) and we'll take a look at it and talk about how we're going to conform other pages to our needs. We also need to think about our portal page and what it would look like, what kinds of content it would have and so forth. Another item would be generating a survey of our members and their use of digital preservation standards. We've talked about this a bit in the past but it would be good to start figuring out what kinds of questions we'd like to ask in this survey. We can get started talking about the survey in this meeting and then get some volunteers to break off and continue the work. All this and MORE in our next NDSA Standards meeting!
