Hi, I'll just chime in for my favorite backup solution for my stuff at home: BackuPC [1]. You set up a dedicated box on your local network, and it backs up configured clients (Mac, Linux, Windows), whenever it finds them. I've got it tweaked a bit to also back up a few personal web sites that I support. I haven't yet set it up to mirror important stuff (like docs, pics and videos) to the cloud, but that's on the agenda for this year.
