Jean, We are actively using and developing ReservesDirect here at NCSU Libraries. I'd be happy to share our experiences with you (privately or publicly). We released a slightly updated version of the code in early 2011, since it's no longer being actively developed by Emory University. That system is showing its age and we're exploring whether to replace or completely overhaul it. We know of ReservesDirect - are there other open source applications out there?
