Is it chilly where you are?  Kind of grey?  Come on down to the sunny 
South!  It was 78 degrees today and nice.  Strawberries and lettuce 
looking great in the garden.

The Florida Center for Library Automation offers the Florida Digital 
Archive as a service to the eleven publicly funded universities of 
Florida. The Florida Digital Archive (FDA) is a long-term preservation 
repository dedicated to ensuring that digital materials deposited today 
will be usable far into the future using the hardware and software 
technologies of the time. The FDA is based on a locally developed 
preservation application called DAITSS, which is also available in an 
open source release (see http://daitss.fcla.edu).

This position is responsible for planning, designing, developing and 
implementing architectures and applications that support the Florida 
Digital Archive, including but not limited to DAITSS. The position will 
function as team leader for the group of developers working on DAITSS 
and related applications.
