I think the groups are ok, although somewhat over lapping. I assume that Government team would include local, state and federal institutions and this is a group I would like to serve on because I have commonality with preservation activities at all three levels. Like most who work in government institutions, I would also be interested in a subject group beyond my institutional affiliation. Since I was involved in a four year GIS archiving project I would be interested in working on the "Maps and Geography team", which I assume would cover geospatial records. There was also interest in this topic by other archivists and librarians in three other states directly involved in the NDIIPP grant and many more of our informational partners. This team could be a forum for maintaining the grant activity momentum. -----Original Message----- From: The NDSA Content working group list [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Grotke, Abigail Sent: Thursday, January 19, 2012 2:19 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [NDSA-CONTENT] Content Teams In our email yesterday about our plan for 2012 (Text of the email is here, in case you missed it: http://www.loc.gov/extranet/wiki/osi/ndiip/ndsa/index.php?title=Plan_for _2012 ) , we talked about the formation of Content Teams. What do you all think of these proposed groupings? Are these good groupings for us to have? Should we have fewer groups, more? Others? What content do you care about preserving? Don't worry. I'll keep emailing the list until someone, anyone responds... :) Abbie ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Abbie Grotke | Web Archiving Team Lead | Office of Strategic Initiatives National Digital Information and Infrastructure Preservation Program | Library of Congress http://www.loc.gov/webarchiving/ | http://www.digitalpreservation.gov<http://www.digitalpreservation.gov/> 202-707-2833 | [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> | @agrotke ############################ To unsubscribe from the NDSA-CONTENT list: write to: mailto:[log in to unmask] or click the following link: http://list.digitalpreservation.gov/SCRIPTS/WA-DIGITAL.EXE?SUBED1=NDSA-C ONTENT&A=1 ############################ To unsubscribe from the NDSA-CONTENT list: write to: mailto:[log in to unmask] or click the following link: http://list.digitalpreservation.gov/SCRIPTS/WA-DIGITAL.EXE?SUBED1=NDSA-CONTENT&A=1
