I'd put the data in Exhibit [1], then figure out how to usefully facet it and display it on a timeline and a map.  Or maybe better yet, try the same in Recollection [2].  And it looks like the Digital Eyes Shiva [3] project does similar things, and works directly from Google spreadsheets.
