I'm happy to announce a new 'mashed libary' event focussing on cataloguing data. The event (#mashcat) will be held in Cambridge (UK) on 5th July, and is free to attend. We hope to encourage a mixture of developers, cataloguers and metadata specialists to come along, exchanging ideas and knowledge. The programme has not yet been finalised but is likely to be a mixture of talks, and time to pursue ideas, discussions and projects.
