Hello Standards group! We had a great meeting today. Check out the following link if you'd like to relive it (my voice makes an excellent sleep aid, or so I've heard):

Attached are Meg's notes (thank you Meg!) appended with Linda's notes from NAB (thank you Linda!). I'll put out a Doodle poll for our June meeting.

I got to thinking after listening to Linda's excellent recap of the NAB conference that perhaps we should set aside time every meeting for people who have attended a conference, symposium, meeting, whatever to update us about their experience. This doesn't have to be too formal but could be informative nonetheless. I think we should all feel encouraged to send our conference notes to the list and/or give a rundown on what we found interesting or innovative. Perhaps we could also share our presentation slides or notes if we are presenters. I think this would be a great way to share what we're learning and what excites us. We've talked about this a bit before but Linda's discussion today reminded me that it would be a great thing for us. So feel free to share with the listserv and if you'd like to share your experience with the group during the WebEx meetings just let me know and I'll add you to the agenda.

I'll put Meg's notes up on the wiki. Please feel free to add your names to the "in attendance" part of the notes.

Thanks all!

Jimi
