Educopia Institute designs and implements programs that promote the
creation, dissemination, and preservation of scholarly communications and
the digital cultural record (see e.g., MetaArchive Cooperative).

We currently invite applications for the following positions:

LIBRARY PUBLISHING COALITION PROGRAM MANAGER
This full-time, two-year position will be responsible for managing and
coordinating the Library Publishing Coalition project, an emerging
community-driven initiative to design and implement a Coalition that
supports academic libraries that are engaging in scholarly production
activities. The individual recruited for this position will have
professional experience in scholarly communication, a concrete
understanding of the academic library’s current and emerging roles in
scholarly publishing, and a proven track record of catalyzing collaborative
practices between libraries or other memory organizations. This individual
will work with more than 45 major libraries in the U.S. and Canada to
design and implement the organizational model, governance structure,
mission, and goals of this new collaborative group.

EDUCOPIA PROJECT MANAGER
This part-time position will be responsible for project coordination and
daily management of project activities for three of Educopia’s
collaborative digital preservation projects. The individual recruited for
this position must have professional experience in library, museum, or
archival digital curation and digital preservation and must be a
self-starter with a passionate belief in the importance of collaborations
between libraries, archives, museums, and other memory organizations for
ensuring the long-term preservation of our digital memory.
