The individual recruited for this position will have professional experience in scholarly communication, a concrete understanding of the academic library’s current and emerging roles in scholarly publishing, and a proven track record of catalyzing collaborative practices between libraries or other memory organizations. This individual will work with more than 45 major libraries in the U.S. and Canada to design and implement the organizational model, governance structure, mission, and goals of this new collaborative group.
