Reporting to the Manager of Development Information, the Associate Manager,
Development Systems:

  * Has primary responsibility for technical knowledge of the applications and databases used by the Development Office to further the Library's fundraising efforts.
  * Responsible for maintaining membership renewal data, gift acknowledgement processing, working with Development staff to optimize the query/export process in Raiser's Edge and creating custom reports
  * Works with ITG staff on database and application upgrade issues and special projects, provides application training, documentation, and Level 1 support for Development users
  * Works to automate processes wherever possible, and manages projects
  * Performs related duties as required  


  * Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or related field
  * Demonstrated work experience in a development office
  * Experience with Raiser's Edge, Crystal Reports and SQL Server required, as is a background in SQL and visual basic  
Excellent computer skills and demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheets and
databases, preferably with MS Office applications

  * Successfully demonstrated organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks under deadline pressure
  * Excellent oral and written skills
  * Ability to work independently and in a team environment
