The University of Florida Libraries seeks a versatile and energetic Digital Production Manager responsible for strategically managing staff capacities, multiple fund lines and project timelines, and the specialized equipment and resources for the operations of the Digital Library Center. The Digital Production Manager has oversight of projects and staff in the areas of bibliographic control, imaging/post-capture processing, quality control & structural metadata, audiovisual conversion/formatting, and optical character recognition/metadata enhancement/archiving. Working closely with external and internal clients this position ensures an appropriate flow of materials, manages digitization processes and services, advises customers on technical specifications, and makes project level decisions collaboratively with the Chair of Digital Services & Shared Collections.

 

Minimum Salary:  $40,343. Actual salary will reflect selected professional’s experience and credentials.
