This is a 2 year term position from the date of reporting.

Your Challenge

  
To ensure the delivery of NRC search and discovery services of the highest
quality, that

are optimally configured, operationalized, and integrated in user workspaces
and

workflows, so that users can autonomously search for, discover, and access the
content

and services that they require to achieve their business objectives.

  
Your Credentials

  
Education

  
An MLIS degree from an ALA accredited institution.

  
Experience

  
Significant experience with web-based library technologies such as integrated
library

systems, proxy servers, browser plugins, federated searching, link resolvers,
federated

or meta- search tools;

Significant experience in applying web accessibility standards and user-
centered design

principles, preferrably in a federal government context;

Significant experience with survey and assessment methods, including user
satisfaction

surveys, focus groups, and analysis of web usage statistics.

  
From $71,592 to $84,497 per annum (under review) plus the Bilingualism Bonus
of

$800 a year.
