Applications are invited for the above post to provide requirements capture,
specification, design, development and management of data intensive science
systems based upon the projects use cases. In addition the post holder will be
responsible for developing the Taverna Workflow Management System, which is a
key part of the SCAPE ([www.scape-project.eu](http://www.scape-project.eu))
infrastructure.

  
The role is varied and challenging and requires the post holder to take a lead
in all Technical development, Componentisation, support of all project digital
preservation usecases, project manage the Manchester side of the SCAPE project
(attend meetings, produce all relevant partner reports) and the organisation
of workshops and events related to the SCAPE project.

  
Candidates will require a good MSc. (Hons) in a computer science or related
subject (or equivalent), whole lifecycle software project based experience and
previous EU project experience.
