Can we agree that "lib" is simply easier to say than "libe" due to the
shorter vowel sound?

Can we also agree than the best coders are, by nature, lazy?

Therefore, "lib" wins. All you. "libe" mohubs can go call the
wah-wah-wahmbulance.
