Since we're brainstorming - here are some additional thoughts for consideration regarding "Issues around Cloud Storage" topic - I suggest we focus on "cloud archive/preservation issues" vs cloud storage (so we don't get into backup/recovery use cases) - and then the focus of the cloud includes active processes that ensure long term retention, preservation and viability of data. It also then includes the other item you brought up (fixity checks) A few specific challenges for cloud that I think of - Import/export (of large data) i.e. not using a WAN (ship disk? tape? limitations?
