Hello Ricky (et al), here's some additional feedback on the survey: #3 - Wonder if "all" should be bolded to draw attention to the fact that, whereas the two previous questions were concerned only with preservation copies, this question is interested in *all* copies. #4 - Same as for #3. #6 - Not all of the responses are appropriate answers to the question of, "When does your organization check the fixity of the content you are preserving?" Suggest possible re-wording to something along the lines of, "What practices does your organization follow with respect to fixity checking?" Also suggest adding "and copying" to the end of the response, "We do fixity checks before and after transactions like ingest". Another possible response: "we store fixity information computed with multiple algorithms"? #8 - The "access" in the question made me think first of access policies. I would like to take a chance to remind everyone that if they have any suggestions or feedback that could make the survey more comprehensive and efficient then be sure to send them my way. Now that we are migrating the survey to the new tool now is the perfect time to tweak and reshape it so please keep that in mind. I've attached the survey report wich has the original questions and I've also attached Micah Altman's suggestions, which are currently being implented. Those should serve as useful guidelines for any improvements to be made to the survey.
