The LITA/ALCTS Library Code Year Interest Group is sponsoring a introduction to Python programming preconference at ALA Annual (June 28, Chicago). Based on the highly successful Boston Python Workshop, this is a friendly, supportive crash course that welcomes people at all levels of technical experience. I'm coteaching and I'm *super* excited about the chance to share this language with new Pythonistas. I've found it fun and empowering to learn, and I hope lots of others will too. Interested?
