Greetings NDSA members,

The NDSA Outreach WG is taking the lead in the communications plan to support the release of the 2014 National Agenda for Digital Stewardship and we'd love to get your assistance in publicizing its release.

The full National Agenda, distributed to the NDSA-ALL list last Tuesday, will be officially released tomorrow, July 23rd in conjunction with the first day of the Digital Preservation 2013 meeting in Washington, D.C.
http://www.digitalpreservation.gov/meetings/ndiipp13.html

The Outreach WG is working with NDSA members to coordinate communications activities surrounding the release of the document. These might include:

Simultaneous press releases from participating NDSA members (draft press release attached);

A blog post on the NDSA partner blog on the Agenda (draft post available);

Social media mentions on the day of the document release (Facebook, Twitter- sample tweets below);

Any other communications activities that would provide support to the release of the document.

Will you assist us in publicizing the National Agenda?

Further ideas (and the draft blog post) are at http://www.loc.gov/extranet/wiki/osi/ndiip/ndsa/index.php?title=2014_National_Agenda_Document_Rollout_Plan
