Job number: SUPP100428 Division/School: Library Services Contract type: Fixed-term contract staff Working pattern: Full time Salary: £30424 - £34223 per annum Closing date for applications: 08-Sep-2013 We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join a team to help establish and promote a pilot research data management service for the University of Bristol. The post will provide support to the Service Manager and Senior Research Data Librarians in the development of policies, procedures, activities and day-to-day implementation of the new service. Essential requirements for the role include: * Extensive practical experience of working in an information service * Experience and/or knowledge of working with digital library applications in an HE environment * Flexible and adaptable collaborative approach to service delivery and problem resolution * High level of ICT skills including web and social media You will be educated to degree level or have an equivalent level of experience. A postgraduate qualification and an understanding of the research management lifecycle would be advantageous.
