Following up to myself one last time about this because it's after Labour Day in North America and schools and universities are back in action, and I don't want people to miss applying for this opening at York University in Toronto, where I work. This two- (possibly three-) year chair is a great opportunity for someone to really dig into a complex project. What kind of project? It's up to you! You've got something you'd like to do---something big and important and interesting---something you haven't had the time to do---something that will lead to exciting research and a symposium and talks and maybe some code---and this is the chance to do it! If you can take two or three years of leave from your current job, or don't like your job and want to quit and start fresh, or don't have a job, or are a post-doc, think about it.
